Fox hired Danny Cannon to be the producer of the series Gotham , Danny was the director of The Judge (1995) and several episodes of CSI, now he will direct the pilot episode.
The attraction will show the detective climbing the ladder in Gotham's police force and could bring several classic Dark Knight villains to television. The first case to be investigated by the protagonist will apparently be the death of Bruce Wayne's parents. The recording of the pilot is scheduled for March 2014.
The series will be produced by Warner Bros. TV and will have a script by Bruno Heller , from The Mentalist. .
The series already has its first season guaranteed, with no set date or cast.
