The sequel to the Free ! anime has been delayed due to various circumstances. On their official website, the producers apologize for the delay but promise to do their best to meet all fans' expectations.
Free! has been produced since 2013 by Kyoto Animation, and its third season aired in 2018, in addition to other films and OVAs.
