Frieren – Anime brings an exciting adventure to RPG fans

If you're a fan of RPGs and anime with more emotional themes, you should keep an eye on this season's new anime, Frieren and the Journey to the Afterlife . This anime begins where many others end, the beginning of a new life after the heroes' victory over the ultimate villain. Then the immortal elf Frieren embarks on a journey full of deep reflections, while witnessing the fragile lifespan of humans.

Frieren – Anime brings an exciting adventure to RPG fans

Currently, the anime scene is dominated by the shonen genre, but Frieren stands out by adopting a calmer approach. After the demon king died, the protagonist only performs simple tasks on her watch. For example, finding a specific flower in the forest, cleaning a beach, and caring for people. These less intense challenges do not attract the attention of audiences looking for frenetic action. However, those who like more reflective adventures should note the emotion that the story conveys.

Although its production does not reach levels like Ufotable or Kyoto Animation , the anime features settings and color palettes that make its animation even more captivating. His approach creates beautiful moments, exploring visual narratives that take the viewer deeper into the adventure.

The quadruple episode flies by as we engage in Frieren's immortal life. If the next episodes maintain this quality, the anime will certainly be a highlight in the magic and fantasy genre.

Synopsis:

Soon after the demon king's defeat, the group of victorious heroes returns home, ready to split up. Frieren the mage, Himmel the hero, Heiter the priest, and Eisen the warrior look back on their decade-long journey as it comes time to say goodbye.
