Attention fans!! The long-awaited second season of the anime "Sousou no Frieren" has just been announced in Japan. A teaser and image accompanied the announcement.

On social media, the notice states: The 2nd season of the anime Frieren will continue from Manga Vol 7 onwards. Therefore, on the website we can read: "It's time to continue our journey."
Sousou no Frieren anime premiered in the September 2023 season with 28 episodes.
Synopsis Sousou no Frieren:
Shortly after the demon king's defeat, the group of victorious heroes returns home, ready to part ways. Frieren the mage, Himmel the hero, Heiter the priest, and Eisen the warrior reminisce about their decade-long journey as the time comes to say goodbye.
Finally, the entire work is based on the manga written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe. It has been serialized in Shogakukan's Weekly Shōnen Sunday since April 2020.
