Therefore, the direction is by Keiichirou Saitou (Bocchi the Rock!, Sonny Boy) at the famous Madhouse (Death Note, One Punch Man, Hunter x Hunter 2011) and character design by Reiko Nagasawa (Takt Op. Destiny). The band Evan Call (“Violet Evergarden”) sings the opening theme.
Synopsis:
The demon king has been defeated, and the group of victorious heroes returns home before parting ways for good. However, the four heroes—the mage Frieren , the hero Himmel , the priest Heiter , and the warrior Eisen —reminisce about their decade-long journey as the time comes for them to say goodbye.
Frieren: Beyond Journey's End ( Sousou no Frieren ) is a manga written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe . The series premiered in Weekly Shōnen Sunday in April 2020, with its chapters collected into eight tankōbon volumes as of June 2022.
