Frieren: Beyond Journey's End is a Japanese manga series written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe . It has been serialized in Shogakukan's Weekly Shōnen Sunday since April 2020, with its chapters collected in eight tankōbon volumes as of June 2022.
The manga has therefore won several awards, including the New Creator Prize for the 25th Annual Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize in 2021 and the 14th Manga Taisho Award in 2021.
Additionally, the manga was nominated for Best Shōnen Manga for the 45th Annual Kodansha Manga Awards in 2021 and the 46th awards in May.
Synopsis
The demon king is then defeated, and the group of victorious heroes returns home before parting ways. The four heroes—the mage Frieren, the hero Himmel, the priest Heiter, and the warrior Eisen—reminisce about their decade-long journey as the time comes to say goodbye.
