Frieren: Beyond Journey's End is a Japanese manga series written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe . It has been serialized in Shogakukan's Weekly Shōnen Sunday since April 2020, with its chapters collected into eight tankōbon volumes as of June 2022.
The manga has therefore won several awards, including the New Creator Prize for the 25th Annual Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize in 2021 and the 14th Manga Taisho Award in 2021.
Additionally, the manga was nominated for Best Shōnen Manga for Kodansha's 45th Annual Manga Awards in 2021 and the 46th awards in May.
Synopsis
The demon king was then defeated and the group of victorious heroes returned home before splitting up. The four heroes, the wizard Frieren, the hero Himmel, the priest Heiter and the warrior Eisen, remember their decade-long journey when the time comes to say goodbye.
