Madhouse Studios' exquisite adaptation captivated audiences, successfully capturing and expanding the essence and depth of the original plot. Viewers praised its faithfulness to the manga and its ability to convey the protagonists' emotions, as well as the quality of the animation and soundtrack.

As the anime progresses, its plot continues to conquer, even the hearts of the Japanese themselves:

  • It's a good story, but I don't see it as a historical first for any particular reason.
  • As expected from Sousou no Frieren, it certainly doesn't surprise me.
  • This ranking is completely wrong when we see Gintama in fourth place.
  • I thought foreigners only knew Naruto and Shingeki no Kyojin, what a surprise.
  • I'm sure if they make a movie it will be well received in theaters.
  • I haven't watched the series because I find the story boring. I can't help but hope to change my mind one day.

Animated by the renowned studio Madhouse (Hunter x Hunter, Death Note) and directed by Keiichirou Saitou , known for his successful work on the adaptation of “ Bocchi the Rock! ”, the series exceeded fans’ expectations in several important aspects for good storytelling.

Finally, Frieren: Beyond Journey's End manga series written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe. It has been serialized in Shogakukan's Weekly Shōnen Sunday since April 2020.
