During the Fantasia Bunko Big Thanksgiving 2015 event, Fujimi Shobo revealed that a new anime adaptation of the light novel “Full Metal Panic!” by Shoji Gatoh and Shikidouji is in production.
Full Metal Panic! revolves around a secret organization called Mithril, which tries to stop a terrorist known as Gauln from imprisoning the "Whispered", people who know and experience visions where they are shown technologies (Black Technology, in Brazil adapted to "Obscure Technology") above our time (a kind of super-gifted), thus giving power to whoever can obtain the information from inside their heads.
In 2002, a 24-episode anime series by Gonzo Studio, in 2003 the series Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu and in 2005 Full Metal Panic! The Second Raid, these last two series having been animated by Kyoto Animation, which later in 2006 also animated the OVA.
