The new anime of Full Metal Panic !: Invisible Victory, a continuation of the novel Full Metal Panic! by Shoji Gatoh and illustrator Shikidouji has received a trailer. Postponed to Spring 2018, the anime is directed by Katsuichi Nakayama (Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo, text by Shoji Gatoh and character design by Osamu Horiuchi, who has already worked on other seasons of the same anime.
The first series was animated by Gonzo studios, the second season was delivered to Kyoto Animation studio and Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu along with this 4th season is the responsibility of the studio Xebec (Fafner in the Azure, Space Battleship Yamato 2199)
The story revolves around a mercenary group called Mithril in a parallel world where the Cold War did not end in 1991.
With more than 11 million copies, the original light novel was released in 1998 and the 12th and final volume was published in 2010.
