Funimation has announced that the anime Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood will be coming to its streaming service. According to information on Twitter, the series will feature a new dub and retain most of the original voice cast.

Synopsis:

After losing their mother, brothers Alphonse and Edward Elric attempt to bring her back using a forbidden alchemy technique. However, the basic principle of alchemy is 'equivalent exchange,' and trying to resurrect someone comes at a very high cost. Ed loses his leg, and Al loses his body.

In Brazil, the manga is licensed and published by JBC.

Finally, the Fullmetal Alchemist series was adapted into two anime and two animated films produced by Studio Bones, a live-action film by Netflix, and a light novel.
