We have a new film from the Fullmetal Alchemist announced. According to information, it will be divided into 2 parts, the first of which should be released in Japan on May 20th, titled "Fullmetal Alchemist: Scar the Avenger."
The second part will be released on June 24th and will complete the film, with the title "Fullmetal Alchemist: The Final Alchemy".

The manga celebrated its 20th anniversary on July 12th of last year.
Arakawa's work was published in Monthly Shonen Gangan anime adaptations in 2003 and 2009, two OVAs, two films , and a live-action film.
Finally, similar to the 2003 anime Fullmetal Alchemist, the 2009 anime Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is based on the original manga by Hiromu Arakawa, although Brotherhood is closer to the manga's story and ending.
