According to news published on the popular website Otakomo , our beloved Fullmetal Alchemist will get a live-action film scheduled to arrive in 2017. The film is still in development for next year. Actor Ryosuke Yamada , from the group Hey! Say! Jump, will star in the film as Edward Elric. HAHAHA lol

The author recently had his work as Nagisa Shiota in the live-action Assassination Classroom .

The manga had two anime adaptations, one between 2003 and 2004 with 51 episodes and aired between October and had a different story from the manga. The second series was completely successful for being faithful to the manga, containing 64 episodes aired between April 2009 and July 2010 with the title Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.
