Square Enix opened a new website this Thursday to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Hiromu Arakawa 's Fullmetal Alchemist manga . The website “vengeance-scar.jp” will announce new projects for the franchise’s anniversary.
In addition, the website also shows a visual with the character Scar, and a countdown that ends on March 2nd. The same look appears in pamphlets distributed in cinemas.
The manga celebrated its 20th anniversary on July 12 last year.
Arakawa's work was published in Square Enix's Monthly Shonen Gangan anime in 2003 and 2009, two OVAs, two films and a live-action film.
Finally Similar to the 2003 Fullmetal Alchemist anime, the Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is based on Hiromu Arakawa's original manga, although Brotherhood is closer to the manga's story and ending.
