According to news published on the popular website Otakomo , our beloved Fullmetal Alchemist will get a live-action film scheduled to arrive in 2017. As of publication, the film is in development for next year. Actor Ryosuke Yamada , from the group Hey!Say!JUMP will star in the film in the role of Edward Elric..HAHAHA lol
The author recently had his break as Nagisa Shiota in the live-action Assassination Classroom .
The manga had two anime adaptations, one between 2003 and 2004 with 51 episodes and was shown between October and had a different story from the manga. The second series was completely successful as it was faithful to the manga, containing 64 episodes aired between April 2009 and July 2010 with the title Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.
