The official Twitter account for the anime Fumetsu no Anata e ( To Your Eternity ) revealed a new trailer for the second season highlighting new characters.

The video also highlights the notorious Bonchien Nicoli, a character that manga readers are most eager to see in the anime! Furthermore, the author of the manga To Your Eternity, Yoshitoki Ooima, is also the author of the acclaimed manga Koe no Katachi (A Silent Voice). Synopsis
The story follows an unknown supernatural entity capable of assimilating dead creatures and transforming into them. Initially, it begins as a wolf, befriending a boy who lives alone in a frigid region. From then on, the creature begins to learn more about life and everything that involves it, such as feelings of loss, joy, sadness, and even anger. A moving story that begins with a farewell…
The first season of the anime premiered in April 2021 on NHK Educational . Furthermore, the anime was originally scheduled to premiere in October 2020, but was postponed due to the schedule being severely affected by COVID-19 . Crunchyroll streamed the anime.
Staff
Kiyoko Sayama (Vampire Knight) is the new director of the anime, replacing Masahiko Murata. Drive ( Vladlove ) is the new animation studio, replacing Brains Base . The rest of the main staff returns, including Shinzou Fujita as script supervisor, Koji Yabuno as character designer, Ryo Kawasaki as music composer, and Takeshi Takadera as sound director.
Finally, the manga's author, Yoshitoki Ooima, launched the manga in November 2016 in Weekly Shonen Magazine . The first arc of the manga ended in December 2019, and the second arc began in January 2020. To Your Eternity won the Best Shounen Manga award at the 43rd Kodansha Manga Awards in May 2019. Furthermore, in Brazil, the manga is published by NewPOP under the name "Uma Vida Imortal" (An Immortal Life).
