The cover of the August issue of Time Kirara magazine announces that an anime adaptation of the manga Gakkou Gurashi! by authors Sadoru Chiba and Norimitsu Kaihou (Guilty Crown: Lost Christmas) is in production. The manga's story revolves around four girls, Yuki Takeya, Rumi, Rurii, and Megu, who, due to mysterious circumstances, are the last survivors of a zombie attack at their school and continue to live and protect it.

The manga began its run in 2012, with a story by Norimitsu Kaihou (Guilty Crown: Lost Christmas) and art by Sadoru Chiba. The 4th volume will be released on July 11th. More information about this new adaptation will be available soon.
