website released information about the young actress Octavia Alexandru who participated in the fourth season of Game of Thrones as one of the Children of the Forest. “ She has experience in various forms of dance and in 2011 she reached the semi-finals of Got To Dance and was described as a child prodigy. She has also appeared in the films My Mother, My Bride and I, Ward 3, Dora and the upcoming Salt .
It's possible that Alexandru will play Leaf, one of the Children of the Forest who enters Bran's (Isaac Hempstead Wright) life at the same time as the previously announced Three-Eyed Raven. It has not yet been confirmed what the young woman's role will actually be. All we know is that with her extensive dancing experience Octavia can pull off creative body language for the woodland creature.
The Children of the Forest are an ancient people who lived in Westeros and look similar to children – but most of them are older. It is not known for certain what the fate of these people was.
The series returns with new episodes in March 2014, on HBO, simultaneously in the USA and Brazil.
