Gamescom Latam 2025 is gearing up for a grand edition in Brazil. The event, which will take place from May 1st to 4th in the Anhembi District of São Paulo, revealed new features during a launch cocktail party. Highlights include the unprecedented appearance of Michael Steranka, Senior Director of Pokémon GO , the participation of major industry companies such as Level Infinite and Gravity Best Brazilian Game award , featuring ten national titles.
Twice the size of the previous edition, the fair will feature interactive attractions, eSports competitions, panels with experts, and dedicated areas for fans to explore industry launches. Additionally, new experiences will be available to the public, including special Pokémon GO and personalized badges featuring exclusive artwork from the franchise.
Pokémon GO will have an unprecedented presence and interactive activities
One of the biggest surprises at Gamescom Latam 2025 is the arrival of Michael Steranka, Senior Director of Pokémon GO. This will be the executive's first time attending an event in Brazil. In a special panel, he will discuss the concept of Pokémon GO as a "game forever," addressing the evolution of augmented reality gaming and the industry's next steps.
In addition to the keynote, Niantic confirmed exclusive experiences for event attendees. Those attending the Anhembi District will be able to complete special in-game missions and capture Pokémon , which will be available only during Gamescom Latam. Additionally, for the first time, general public badges will feature exclusive Pokémon artwork, making them collectibles for fans of the franchise.
Dispute for the Best Brazilian Game award
The Best Brazilian Game award is one of the most anticipated events at Gamescom Latam. In 2025, ten Brazilian titles will compete for the title of best Brazilian game. Among the nominees are projects that have participated in the Panorama Brasil showcase in previous editions but are now competing for the main award.

The winner will be announced on May 2nd, in a ceremony on the event's main stage.
Level Infinite and Gravity are present with new features
Gamescom Latam 2025 will also feature major industry names. Level Infinite, a leading global publisher, returns to the event to present updates on its hit titles, such as Honor of Kings, PUBG Mobile, Warhammer 40k, and Dune: Awakening.
Gravity, the South Korean company known for the Ragnarök Online franchise, returns to the fair with an even larger space. The brand will have a 120m² booth, where visitors can try out games like Gunbound and Ragnarök Latin America, as well as check out other attractions prepared especially for the event.
Tickets and general information about gamescom Latam 2025
The 2025 edition will be the largest ever held in Latin America, doubling in size and featuring attractions such as eSports championships, panels with experts, meet and greet sessions with content creators, and interactive spaces.
Tickets are available on the official Gamescom Latam website. Prices range from R$133 (half-price) to R$333 (full price) for a single day. A four-day package costs between R$525 (half-price) and R$1,051 (full price). Visa Ourocard Banco do Brasil customers receive a 30% discount on full price tickets.
