Ganbatte Ikimasshoi: Novel gets film adaptation

The novel about a women's sailing club, Ganbatte Ikimasshoi (GIVE IT ALL) by Yoshiko Shikimura , had its anime adaptation announced in film format. Furthermore, we learned about the premiere date.

Therefore, the film opens in cinemas in Japan on October 25th. The animation is by the studio MOE × REIRS.

Synopsis:

The plot of the light novel takes place around the members of a sailing club at a girls' high school in the picturesque city of Matsuyama, located in the charming Ehime Prefecture. As such, the city's stunning scenery and serene atmosphere provide the perfect backdrop for the adventures and relationships that develop between the club's young members. But by exploring themes of friendship, overcoming and determination, the story captivates readers, taking them on an exciting journey through the seas of youth and self-discovery.

Finally, Ganbatte Ikimasshoi's novel won first prize at the “Bocchan Literary Prize” in 1995, inspiring a live-action film in 1998 and a live-action series in 2005.
