At the Annecy International Animation Film Festival , the new film titled Garden of Remembrance, directed by Naoko Yamada, was officially announced. According to sources, the animation will be released in 2023.
The character design is by Etsuko Mizusawa (Hello, this is Terumi), and the music is by Lovely Summer-chan .
Yamada has significant credits at her former studio, Kyoto Animation. These include anime such as K-ON!, A Silent Voice, Liz and the Blue Bird, Tamako Market, and Tamako Love Story. She also directed Sound! Euphonium.
