At the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, the new film, titled " Garden of Remembrance," directed by Naoko Yamada, was officially announced. According to sources, the animated film will be released in 2023.

The character design is in charge of Etsuko Mizusawa (Hello, this is Terumi), and the music is by Lovely Summer-chan .

Yamada 's work at her former studio, Kyoto Animation, includes anime such as K-ON!, A Silent Voice, Liz and the Blue Bird, Tamako Market, and Tamako Love Story. She was also the director of Sound! Euphonium.
