In addition to the commemorative film, the anniversary project includes a series of special events. First, there will be a 20-episode talk show featuring past and present cast and crew members. The franchise's official YouTube channel will stream these episodes for free .

Additionally, the Japanese channel CS Family Theater will rerun several productions from the franchise starting June 9th. The celebration will also feature the "20 Years of Garo Exhibition" and even an unusual collaboration with the Zoids , which promises to please fans of both series.

Originally released in 2005 as a 25-episode series, Garo presents a dark narrative centered on the Makai Knights , humans who fight demonic entities called Horrors . The protagonist of the inaugural series, Kōga Saejima , seeks to save Kaoru from certain death after she is tainted by demonic blood.
