The-Sun-Penetrates-the-IllusionsThe official website for the anime "Gen'ei o Kakeru Taiyō ou" (The Sun Penetrates the Illusions) revealed the performers for the opening and ending themes this Sunday. LiSA (Angel Beats!, Clannad) will perform the opening theme song "träumerei," and 6th Anison Grand Prix winner Natsumi Okamoto will sing the ending theme song "-Mirage-."

Keizo Kusakawa will direct the adaptation, an original work by Viola, at the animation studio AIC, with scripts by Michiko Itou. Shinpei Tomooka, the original designer of Gomoku Akatsuki, will be adapting, and Tatsuya Katou will be producing the music with sound director Yoshikazu Iwanami. The cast includes Maia Kadowaki as Akari Taiyō, Eri Kitamura as Seira Hoshikawa, Yuiko Tatsumi as Ginka Shirokane, and Sora Tokui as Luna Tsukuyomi.

The anime will premiere in July
