The fantasy spinoff Love Live! Sunshine!! , called “ Genjitsu no Yohane -Sunshine in the Mirror- “, will be receiving an anime starting next year.
Confirmation came through a show held this Sunday.
Synopsis
The “story that no one knows about a girl that everyone knows” reimagines Yoshiko Tsushima, an idol with chuunibyou (teenage delusions of grandeur) issues, as a magical girl. The story takes place in Numazu, a picturesque port city surrounded by the sea and mountains. Since she was little, the girl Yohane never fit in and always felt distant from everyone in the city. Her aspirations and her true place in this world lie elsewhere. The story follows this girl who can't follow rules as she travels through this wonderful world.
