Genshin Impact hosted its third annual "Lantern Rite Festival" event last Thursday. The event, which reflects the Chinese New Year , is a great opportunity for players to interact with Liyue , play minigames, and collect rewards.
The game is promoting the event with an exciting animated video showing the characters attending the festival.

HoYoverse describes the video as follows: "A sea of lanterns illuminates the sky, gathering countless dreams in this moment. May this dream last forever, may we meet again. "
Last October, HoYoverse therefore released an animated video highlighting the Mondstadt , produced by the European animation studio Sun Creature.
The company released the game for free worldwide in September 2020. The game is then available for iOS , Android , PC , PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 .
Additionally, it's worth noting that HoYoverse is collaborating with anime studio ufotable on a "long-term collaboration project" with Genshin Impact. The Honkai Impact 3 has already inspired several anime and animation projects.
