How the Explosive Firepower event works
The Explosive Firepower event introduces a gameplay dynamic based on turret control. In each phase, players must operate a mounted weapon and eliminate enemies advancing in successive waves. The main objective is to prevent any opponent from breaking through the defensive line, which reduces combat power and compromises overall performance in the round.
Each match is timed and requires precision shooting. Enemies appear with different movement patterns, requiring quick adaptations throughout the match. The difficulty increases progressively with each new stage unlocked, increasing the challenge and encouraging the application of more refined strategies.
Shooting types and strategies during the phases
During the event, players have access to different types of ammunition, each with specific characteristics. However, knowing how to switch between available shots is essential to eliminating enemies more efficiently.
The explosive shot, for example, is ideal against Electro-type enemies, as it triggers the Overload reaction, causing an area-of-effect explosion. This explosion affects not only the enemy hit but also those around it, speeding up the level's progression.
On the other hand, piercing fire is recommended when enemies are lined up vertically. It penetrates multiple targets, making it effective against compact groups and opponents with protective shields, such as the Geo Samachurl. After breaking through the protective barrier, subsequent attacks can directly hit the remaining opponents.
Additionally, it's important to manage ammunition usage, which is limited in each stage. Shooting without planning can result in failure, as running out of bullets automatically ends the challenge.
Rewards available in the event
Upon completing each of the event's five phases, players receive rewards that aid their game progression. Prizes are distributed based on performance and include:
