The next update for Imaginarium Theater, Genshin Impact's endgame mode, has already begun to be leaked. According to leaker HomDGCat, the November 2025 season will feature a new lineup of enemies and playable characters, as well as the absence of Envisaged Echo stages, common in previous editions.
This information has not yet been officially confirmed by HoYoverse and may be subject to change before release. The new features are expected to arrive with the Luna II update.
What is the Imaginarium Theater?
Imaginarium Theater is a special challenge mode in Genshin Impact, aimed at advanced players. This mode requires the use of at least 22 characters in Visionary mode and rewards players with Primogems, Mora, and character talent materials upon completion of all stages.
Characters confirmed in the leaks
According to HomDGCat, the new season will allow the use of characters from the Dendro, Electro, and Hydro elements. The leak lists the available characters as both Opening Characters (initial characters that must be selected before starting the mode) and Special Guest Characters (special guests that can only be used if they are available on the player's account).
Opening Characters (with trial option):
- Furina (Hydro, 5★, Sword)
- Barbara (Hydro, 4★, Catalyst)
- Cyno (Electro, 5★, Lance)
- Ororon (Electro, 4★, Arc)
- Alhaitham (Dendro, 5★, Sword)
- Yaoyao (Dendro, 4★, Spear)
Special Guest Characters:
- Dehya (Pyro, 5★, Bigsword)
- Diona (Cryo, 4★, Arco)
- Jean (Anemo, 5★, Sword)
- Lynette (Anemo, 4★, Sword)
These last ones can only be used by players who have already unlocked and upgraded them.
New boss and Lunar mode are highlights
Another point revealed in the leak is the lineup of chefs who will be part of the November season at the Imaginarium Theater:
- Maguu Kenki – Act 3
- Primordial Bathysmal Vishap (enhanced version) – Act 6
- Knuckle Duckle – Act 8
- Emperor of Fire and Iron – Act 10
- Perpetual Mechanical Array – Final phase of the new Lunar Mode
The Luna I update will introduce the Knuckle Duckle boss, who will be part of the new Lunar mode. Additionally, this mode adds two extra stages and consequently requires at least 26 characters—making the challenge even greater for those seeking advanced content.
Release scheduled for Luna II update
HoYoverse is expected to release the new season of Imaginarium Theater in the Luna II version, although a date has not yet been confirmed. As the content is based on leaks, information may change. Therefore, it is important to exercise caution until the studio releases official details.
