Ghost Cat Anzu, film with ghost cat gets new trailer

Production company TOHO Animation has released a new trailer for the film Ghost Cat Anzu , which tells the story of a girl's life accompanied by a ghost cat.

Therefore, the animated film premieres on July 19th in the main cinemas in Japan. The animation is by the studio Shin-Ei Animation ( Doraemon ) × Miyu Productions. In the video we can hear the theme “Matatabi” in the voice of Chiaki Sato.

Ghost Cat Anzu Synopsis:

The story revolves around Karin, a young girl of just 11 years old, left by her father in the care of her grandfather, a respected monk in a quiet town in the Japanese countryside. But in the midst of loneliness, her grandfather has an unusual idea: he introduces her to Anzu, a ghost cat, to be her constant companion.

Finally CHARADES, a renowned French company, is in charge of international sales for this exciting project. Under the talented direction of the duo formed by Yoko Kuno and Nobuhiro Yamashita, and with a carefully crafted script by Shinji Imaoka.

Furthermore, the film is expected to last 90 minutes and will explore innovative mixed animation techniques, combining the charm of 2D digital animation with the precision of rotoscoping.
