Ghost in the Shell 2045 - Anime gets second season

The production of the anime Ghost in the Shell SAC 2045 revealed a new promotional video that shows excerpts from Motoko's brain battle.

The staff also confirmed that the first season will have 12 episodes and already has plans for a second season going forward. Production IG USA Maki Terashima-Furuta previously stated during an interview that the anime would have two 12-episode seasons, with Kenji Kamiyama (Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex) directing one season, and Shinji Aramaki (Appleseed) directing the other.

The team also revealed new character images by designer Ilya Kushinov .

Finally, the anime Ghost in the Shell SAC 2045 arrives on April 23rd on the Netflix platform.
