It was announced via the official website that a new film based on the series Arise – Ghost in the Shell will be released in Japanese cinemas next year. The new announcement is in celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Ghost in the Shell series. The fourth and final part of the Arise – Ghost in the Shell OVA will be released in Japan this month.
Ghost in the Shell in Brazil, or rather The Ghost of the Future is a Japanese animation film from 1995, in the science fiction and action genres, directed by Mamoru Oshii and written by Kazunori Itô and Masamune Shirow. It was one of the main inspirations for the Matrix trilogy and other films of the genre.
The film's story takes place in the distant future and begins when a police group tries to find a hacker who steals government information.
