Science Saru Studio (Dandadan) released the second teaser of its new adaptation of Ghost in the Shell during the anime Expo. The new anime , which opens in 2026, also revealed its official logo, created by renowned artist Hajime Sorayama , known by the Sexy Robot .

According to the producers, the new anime will remain true to Masamune Shirow . In addition, the script is almost finalized, with the storyboards underway. The team again exhibited the visual art already released, now with the logo signed by Sorayama.
The director of the series will be Mokochan , who debuts in this role after acting as an animator in works such as Dandadan and The Heike Story . The script will be supervised by Toh Enjoe ( Space Dandy , Godzilla singular Point ), while Shūhei Handa will take care of character design and animation direction.
Ghost in the Shell will gain exhibition in Los Angeles
However, it was not just the anime that received news. It has been announced that the exhibition “The World of Shirow Masamune - The Ghost in the Shell and the Path of Creation” will be taken to Los Angeles. In Japan, she remains open until August 17 at the Setagaya Literary Museum in Tokyo.
Shirow himself commented on this new adaptation. According to him, this will be the tenth animated version of the work, possibly representing the beginning of a second generation of the franchise.
