It was announced through the official website that a new film based on the Arise – Ghost in the Shell will be released in Japanese theaters next year. The new announcement is in celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Ghost in the Shell series. The fourth and final part of the Arise – Ghost in the Shell OVA will be released in Japan this month.
Ghost in the Shell in Brazil, or better known as Ghost in the Shell, is a 1995 Japanese animated science fiction action film directed by Mamoru Oshii and written by Kazunori Itô and Masamune Shirow. It was one of the main inspirations for the Matrix trilogy and other films of the genre.
The film's story takes place in the distant future and begins when a police group tries to find a hacker who steals government information.
