Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 – Season 2 gets a new trailer

We bring you a new trailer for season 2 of Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 . According to Netflix , the series premieres on May 23rd.

Kenji Kamiyama and Shinji Aramaki are directing the new season at Production IG and Sola Digital  Arts . Russian illustrator Ilya Kuvshinov is returning as character designer. Nobuko Toda and Kazuma Jinnouchi are composing the music.

Synopsis:

The story takes place after a financial crisis, where the world is experiencing a "sustainable war" with extreme use of artificial intelligence. Section 9 must confront these new forms of cyberthreat that persist in destroying the world.

Masamune Shirow is once again credited as the original creator of the  Ghost in the Shell manga , and the returning scriptwriters are Kamiyama , Ryou  Higaki , Kurasumi  Sunayama , Harumi  Doki , Dai Sato , and Daisuke Daitou .

The first season premiered globally on Netflix in April 2020 with a total of 12 episodes.
