Ghost in the Shell movie has had its first image revealed. We can see actress Scarlett Johansson (The Avengers) as Mokoto Kusanagi .
The story of Ghost in the Shell should follow the manga's storyline, called Ghost in the Shell in Brazil, in which Major Motoko Kusanagi ( Scarlett Johansson ), a cybernetic police officer, fights to bring justice to the streets of her Japanese megacity in a dystopian future.
Paramount Pictures will be responsible for the release, scheduled for March 31, 2017. The manga will get a new edition in Brazil this year.
