12 minutes of the new “ Ghost in the Shell ” film, Kōkaku Kidōtai Shin Gekijō-ban (Ghost in the Shell: The New Movie), was released via the official website. The film begins with “Motoko Kusanagi” and her team members dealing with a hostage situation at an embassy.
The film that follows in the footsteps of the new generation “Arise” has Kazuchika Kise as chief animation director, Tow Ubukata (Ghost in the Shell Arise) will handle the script.
The premiere takes place on June 20th in Japan.
