Ghost in the Shell film , Kōkaku Kidōtai Shin Gekijō-ban (Ghost in the Shell: The New Movie), have been released on the official website. The film begins with Motoko Kusanagi and members of her team dealing with a hostage situation at an embassy.

The film that follows in the footsteps of the new generation “Arise” has Kazuchika Kise as chief animation director, Tow Ubukata (Ghost in the Shell Arise) will handle the script.

The premiere takes place on June 20th in Japan.
