Ghost in the Shell movie , Kōkaku Kidōtai Shin Gekijō-ban (Ghost in the Shell: The New Movie), have been released on the official website. The film begins with Motoko Kusanagi and her team dealing with a hostage situation at an embassy.
The film, which follows in the footsteps of the new generation "Arise," has Kazuchika Kise as chief animation director, and Tow Ubukata (Ghost in the Shell Arise) will handle the screenplay.
The premiere will take place on June 20th in Japan.
