Ghost in the Shell Arise website has been updated and announced the trailer for its 4th OVA chapter, titled border:4 Ghost Stands Alone . The video features Yukihiro Takahashi & Metafive and the ending theme song “Split Spirit.”
The fourth installment story takes place amidst signs of post-war reconstruction , in the winter of 2028. Tensions are rising in New Port City as demonstrations are held concerning the interests of foreign cartels This leads to an incident involving riot police . It all began with cyberbrain infection unleashed by the terrorist “Fire Starter. ” An independent offensive led by Makoto Kusanagi entrusts suppressing the situation to his phantoms and aims for their own justice.
The third episode, titled “border:3 Ghost Tears,” opened in select theaters in June and shipped on DVD and Blu -ray in Japan on July 25. Funimation licensed the four-part anime and released the first episode in a special imported edition in August.
