Namco Bandai Games announced its new adaptation, this time for anime. We are talking about God Eater , the company's successful game, and to the delight of fans, the studio Ufotable (Fate Stay Night, Fate/Zero) will take care of the production of this animation. The company made this and other announcements during the “God Eater 2 Rage Burst & GE 5th Anniversary Contents Unveiling” event at Tokyo Game Show 2014.

The famous game God Eater 2 will feature a new character called Rivi Koretto who is voiced by Hisako Kanemoto. She has the power to adapt to other characters' shinki. The game will also feature the new weapon “Variant Scythe” which looks like a regular scythe at first glance, but has expandable range for close-range combat.
