Gotham, a series about Bruce Wayne's childhood (Batman), was officially confirmed by Fox and will have 13 episodes.
The cast includes Ben McKenzie , Donal Logue, Robin Lord Taylor, Sean Pertwee, Zabryna Guevara, Erin Richard, Cory Michael Smith, Jada Pinkett Smith, David Mazouz and Drew Powell.
The story continues with Gordon, who will be the series' protagonist. The first case he investigates in the pilot episode is the death of Bruce Wayne's (Mazouz) parents. Filming is scheduled for March. The series is produced by Bruno Heller, of The Mentalist fame, and the pilot is directed by Danny Cannon. The series is scheduled to premiere in the 2014/2015 season.
