The official Granbelm website began streaming the second video, this one focused on Nene , from a seven-part series of promotional videos titled “Fragment of Emotion” on Saturday (29). The site is revealing a new video every day for seven consecutive days, each focused on a different character. The first video focused on Kuon .
With a premiere scheduled for July 5th, the animation is by studio Nexus (Wakaba Girl, Chivalry of a Failed Knight), directed by Masaharu Watanabe (Re:ZERO, Wakaba Girl), with story by Jukki Hanada (Sound! Euphonium, Love Live!, Love Live! Sunshine!!) and character design by Shinichirou Otsuka (illustrator of the Re:ZERO novel). Infinite is producing the anime. Eir Aoi performs the opening theme “Tsuki o Ou Mayonaka” (Following the Moon in the Middle of the Night), and Uru performs the anime's ending theme “Negai” (Wish).

The story takes place in a world that long ago possessed magic, but has since lost that ability. The story begins when ordinary high school student Mangetsu Kohinata meets Shingetsu Ernesta Fukami, who has returned to Japan from Germany, on a full moon night.
