The official website for the Grand Blue has released some news about the second season. The promotional team released a teaser trailer, two special illustrations visual for the new season.

The sequel to Grand Blue will premiere on July 7 , 2025, and the production team announced it in September 2024, six years after the end of the first season. The anime will feature the original voice cast visual for the new season:

The teaser shows a bit of the opening theme song, called “Seishun Towa” . The theme is sung by Shonan no Kaze in a collaboration with the group ATARASHII GAKKO . Check it out below:

Synopsis
Iori Kitahara eagerly anticipates his new life on the Izu Peninsula as he prepares to begin his university studies there, staying in a room above his uncle's diving shop, "Grand Blue.".
However, he is shocked to find the local Diving Club, a group full of men who spend more time drinking, partying, and stripping than actually diving.
Despite his attempts to distance himself from the group, Iori is quickly drawn into their antics, while his cousins try to show him the wonders of diving in the ocean
