Netflix will stream Grave of the Fireflies (Hotaru no Haka) exclusively in over 190 countries (excluding the US and Japan) starting September 16, 2024.
Synopsis:
The story is set in the city of Kobe, Japan, and narrates the moving journey of two siblings, Seita and Setsuko, who struggle to survive in the final months of World War II.
Finally, the film was released for the first time in 1988. It was directed by Isao Takahata and produced by the acclaimed Studio Ghibli .
