upcoming original anime , Great Pretender , has released several details, including a teaser trailer for the work. Initially announced at Anime Expo 2019 , the anime will premiere in July this year on Japanese TV, and will be distributed globally by Netflix .
The anime will feature direction by Hiro Kaburagi and character design by Yoshiyuki Sadamoto. The script is written by Ryota Kosawa, while the anime's music is produced by Yutaka Yamada. It was listed that the anime will have 23 episodes.
The cast of the anime has already had 4 names confirmed:

- Junichi Suwabe as Laurent Thierry
