The upcoming anime from Studio WIT, Great Pretender , has just received several details, including a teaser trailer. Initially announced at Anime Expo 2019 , the anime will premiere in July of this year on Japanese TV and will be distributed globally by Netflix .
The anime will be directed by Hiro Kaburagi and feature character designs by Yoshiyuki Sadamoto. The script is written by Ryota Kosawa, while the anime's music is produced by Yutaka Yamada. It has been listed that the anime will have 23 episodes.
The anime's cast has already had 4 names confirmed:
- Chiaki Kobayashi as Makoto Edamura
- Junichi Suwabe as Laurent Thierry
- Natsumi Fujiwara as Abigail Jones
- Mie Sonozaki as Paula Dickins
