Synopsis:
Three years ago, WIT Studio captivated the world with the dizzying antics and ingenious plots of the GREAT PRETENDER series. This new action-adventure film follows Dorothy, the self-proclaimed genius of the art of conning, who recruited the infamous Laurent Thierry into a life of crime. Recently, she was defeated at her own game by Shanghai Longu Bang and was presumed dead, but soon resurfaces in a small seaside village. Pursued by Taipei's underworld, she heads to Kyoto, but what awaits her there?!
Great Pretender is directed by Hiro Kaburagi (Hozuki's Coolheadedness), written by Ryota Kosawa (Parasyte live-action), character design by Yoshiyuki Sadamoto (Evangelion, FLCL) and musical score by Yutaka Yamada (Tokyo Ghoul, Vinland Saga).
Additionally, all 23 episodes of the original anime produced by Wit Studio (Spy x Family) are available on Netflix with Portuguese subtitles and dubbing.
