The second season of the Solo Leveling arrived with a bang, breaking records right from the start. The premiere episode became Crunchyroll ," surpassing even the first season's release, which had already caused instability on the platform's servers. However, while the anime continues to achieve impressive numbers, the franchise's manhwa faces serious problems.
Due to a car accident involving author Daul, the next chapter of Solo Leveling: Ragnarok had to be postponed once again, frustrating fans and generating an outpouring of solidarity for the writer's recovery.
For those unfamiliar, Solo Leveling: Ragnarok is a direct sequel to Jinwoo's original story, this time focusing on his son, Sung Suho. The young heir seeks to understand his father's legacy and forge a path as magnificent as his own.
However, the plot's development was impacted by Daul's accident, where he was run over while walking. Although he wasn't seriously injured, the author still needs time to fully recover. As a result, the next chapter of the book has been postponed until January 31st.
Official Announcement:
Publisher D&C Media , responsible for publishing Solo Leveling under the “Papyrus” label, released an official statement explaining the reason for the extended hiatus:
After detailed examinations during the hospitalization, the doctor concluded that additional treatment would be necessary, extending the hiatus for Solo Leveling: Ragnarok until January 31, 2025. We ask for all our readers' understanding. Thank you.
