The information includes details about Standard, Deluxe, and Premium versions, with significant prices and early access to GTA Online. The rumor also points to possible promotional bundles with PlayStation 5 and PS5 Pro.

GTA 6 may have three different editions and high prices
According to GTA 6 Countdown insider, known for anticipating information about Sony events, GTA 6 will be released in three different versions. The Standard edition would cost £69.99 (R$521.54), while the Deluxe edition, with early access to GTA Online, would cost £89.99 (R$670.57). The Premium version, which would include additional benefits in online mode, would be priced at £109.99 (R$819.72).
These prices in British pounds are noteworthy because they represent considerably high prices, especially when converted to Brazilian currency. With the exchange rate and taxes applied, the game could easily exceed R$ 800 in Brazil, which worries players.
Possible postponement to September 2026
In addition to information about prices and editions, the insider mentioned the possibility of another delay for GTA 6. Rockstar had scheduled the release for May 26, 2026, but may postpone it to September of the same year. This hypothesis aligns with Rockstar Games' history, which has already delayed other titles in the past for final quality adjustments.
If the change is confirmed, fans will have to wait even longer to experience the most anticipated game of the last decade. Rockstar, however, has not officially commented on any changes to the schedule.
Bundles with PS5 and enhanced marketing
Another point raised by the insider is that the marketing partnership between Rockstar and Sony will result in several promotional GTA 6 bundles with the PlayStation 5 and PS5 Pro. The strategy aims to boost sales of the console and the game itself, with attractive discounts for the public.
This initiative also reinforces the company's focus on the Brazilian market. Recently, Rockstar intensified its marketing campaigns in Portuguese, indicating a greater effort to bring the brand closer to local consumers.
Despite the insider's positive track record of accurate predictions, all information released is still treated as rumors. To date, Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive have not confirmed details regarding pricing, editions, or possible changes to the release date of GTA 6. The expectation is that the company will provide updates in the coming months, especially given the growing pressure from the community.
