Rockstar Games has released new images of GTA 6, along with the highly anticipated second trailer for the game. The previously unseen screenshots reveal not only impressive details of the protagonists Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, but also showcase a range of secondary characters and landscapes from the vast open world of Leonida, inspired by the state of Florida.

Among the characters revealed in the screenshots are names like Cal Hampton, Boobie Ike, Dre'Quan Priest, Real Dimez, Raul Bautista, and Brian Heder. Each figure appears in varied contexts, whether in action scenes, intimate moments, or situations that reveal a little more about the social and criminal atmosphere of the city.
New regions beyond Vice City
Regarding the environments, the images offer a fresh perspective on Vice City, recreated with rich detail. But what truly stands out are the locations beyond the city. Players will be able to explore Leonida Keys, a coastal region with a tropical climate, Mount Kalaga, a mountainous area promising challenges and breathtaking views, as well as Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia, Grassrivers, and other districts. These regions expand the scope of exploration and offer a glimpse of what Rockstar has been calling "the largest and most immersive world ever created by the franchise.".
The launch has been postponed to 2026
Despite the lack of official gameplay footage so far, the new visual material provides valuable clues about the narrative and setting of GTA 6, which is now confirmed for release on May 26, 2026. This is a delay from the initial forecast, which was for the end of 2025. The game will first arrive on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S; however, the PC version still has no set date.
